Helping Growers Succeed with Pioneer® Canola

What is a PKP?

Field Tested by Local Growers!

Product Knowledge Plots (PKPs) are large, field-scale plots grown and managed by local farmers. These plots are treated just like any other field on the farm, giving us honest results under real conditions.

They allow us to see how Pioneer® canola hybrids perform in our area and how they compare against other leading products in the marketplace.

Because these plots are grown in real fields by real farmers, the results reflect what growers can expect on their own farms.

Why PKP Plots Matter!

  •  Real Farm Conditions
PKPs are planted and managed by local growers using the same equipment and practices they use on their own acres.
  •  Side-by-Side Comparisons
Our top Pioneer hybrids are compared with leading competitor products so growers can clearly see performance differences.
  •  New Genetics in the Field
Each year includes proven hybrids along with new experimental products that may become available in future seasons.
  •  Regional Performance Data
Results from many PKP locations are combined to give a bigger picture across our region and throughout Western Canada.

Results You Can Trust!

With multiple locations and different growing environments, PKP data helps highlight where hybrids perform best and where they may face challenges.

Because these plots are managed by farmers and treated like their own fields.
